Longtime Levittown Resident Passes Away While Hunting
Michael McAvoy passed away suddenly, doing what he loved best — hunting.

Michael F. McAvoy passed away suddenly, doing what he loved best, hunting, on Friday, December 1, 2017. He was 59. Born in Philadelphia, son of the late Francis and Dorothy McAvoy, he was raised in Bristol Township and has been a Levittown resident for the past 27 years.
He was a graduate of Bishop Egan High School and was employed as a Property and Vineyard Manager at Crossing Vineyard and Winery in Washington Crossing. Michael was an avid hunter and a member of Camp Curly.
He is survived by his wife of 29 years, Eileen (McColgan) McAvoy, his stepson, Tim Cornell (Amy), his grandchildren; Camryn and Ryley and his "adopted children", John, Jr. and Jaime Bley and their children; Chris, Parker and Haley. He is also survived by his good friend, Tom, owner of Crossing Vineyards and his hunting buddies, Billy, Don, and Marvin.

Relatives and friends are invited to his viewing on Tuesday evening 7-9:00pm and Wednesday morning 10-11:00am at the Wade Funeral Home, 1002 Radcliffe Str., Bristol Borough. Interment, private.
