Man Nabs Woman's Cell Phone, Struggle Ensues: Bristol Twp. PD
Cristian Samuel Gil Aponte, 21, of Bristol Township is now facing robbery, theft, harassment and disorderly conduct charges, police said.
BRISTOL TOWNSHIP, PA — A Bristol Township man is facing numerous charges after a woman recently accused him of accosting her and taking her cell phone while at a local convenience store.
Cristian Samuel Gil Aponte, 21, of Bristol Township is currently facing robbery, theft, harassment and disorderly conduct charges stemming from the incident, police said.
Around 1 p.m. on Thursday, police said they responded to the Wawa convenience store on Farragut Avenue after receiving a call that a man was harassing a female customer at the store.

Once on scene, police met with the woman who told them that after arriving at the store, Aponte accosted her.
"The victim dropped her phone at which time the male picked it up and would not return it," police said in a news release. "After a struggle, the victim was able to retrieve her phone and attempted to enter her vehicle at which time the suspect would not allow her to enter her vehicle."

According to officers, the altercation between the two continued until the woman was finally able to get into her vehicle and contact police.
Police said they ultimately located Aponte on a canal path off of Green Lane and booked him into the local jail.
A judge set his bail at $50,000.
