Police in Bucks Co. are investigating a shooting after a man arrived at a local hospital with a gunshot wound.

BUCKS COUNTY, PA — Police in Bucks County are investigating a shooting after a man arrived at a local hospital with a gunshot wound, but couldn't tell investigators what happened. An investigation into the incident has resulted in "conflicting accounts" of what happened, police said.

According to Bristol Borough Police, officers were dispatched to Lower Bucks Hospital early Sunday morning for a report of a man with a gunshot wound to the leg.

The 27-year-old man admitted himself to the hospital around 12:30 a.m., authorities said.

The man, a Bensalem resident, told police that he was in a parking lot on Farragut Avenue when he was shot. He provided no further details on who shot him or what led up to the shooting, police said.

"Further investigation resulted in conflicting accounts of the event by the victim," police said.
