Metro Diner In Langhorne Sets Opening Date

LANGHORNE, PA — Metro Diner in Langhorne has announced its opening date.

The diner, at 2390 E. Lincoln Hwy., will open on Tuesday, Nov. 19, the company announced Thursday.

The 3,700-square-foot diner is in Lincoln Plaza, near Oxford Valley Mall and the Sesame Place theme park. It will be hiring more than 100 employees, the company says.

The location of the popular diner chain will serve all-day breakfast, lunch and dinner.

"Guests feel at home when they come to Metro Diner because we welcome them as if they are coming to our own house," said Langhorne Metro Diner managing partner John Azarian. "Metro Diner is known as a local gathering spot, and we hope to be the new go-to destination where Langhorne diners turn into regulars."

Metro Diner's dishes have been featured on the Food Network's "Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives" and the Cooking Channel's "Cheap Eats."

In Langhorne, the community is invited to attend special fundraising pre-opening events. They may reserve a spot for an event on Saturday, Nov. 16 benefiting Kisses for Kyle, which provides services to families battling childhood cancer in the Delaware Valley.

Then, on Sunday, Nov. 17, all donations will benefit the Children's Tumor Foundation. Reservations for both days can be made by calling 215-804-9415.

Its hours will be:

Monday-Thursday: 7 a.m.-2:30 p.m. and 5-9 p.m.
Friday: 7 a.m.-2:30 p.m. and 5-10 p.m.
Saturday: 7 a.m.-10 p.m.
Sunday: 7 a.m.-9 p.m.
