Head Football Coach Mike Frederick has resigned, the school district announced in a statment Thursday.

Neshaminy High School Head Football Coach Mike Frederick has resigned, the school district announced Thursday.

According to the school district, Frederick said concerns that a recent change in his job would prevent him from having the flexibility to carry out the coaching duties moving forward.

Football team members were informed of the decision during the school day Thursday, according to Neshaminy officials.

Frederick, who was hired as head coach in April, 2014, is a 1990 Neshaminy HS graduate who played for the Ravens, Titans and Browns in the NFL.
