Neshaminy School Board to Discuss New Teacher Contract

The Neshaminy Federation of Teachers-approved contract is scheduled to be presented, discussed and voted on at the June 13 special board meeting.

Once the Neshaminy Federation of Teachers (NFT) approved its tentative contract on June 3, it will be left to the Neshaminy School Board to approve the contract.

The vote is scheduled to take place on June 13 at the District Office's Board Room.

According to Neshaminy Contract Negotiations blog, as maintained by the district's school board, the board was expected to present additional information about the NFT contract, including a summary of highlighted changes in the agreement and financial impact, at its June 4 meeting.

However, the contract was not directly discussed. Instead, School Board president Ritchie Webb confirmed that the board will hold a special meeting prior to the June 13 vote.

Ritchie said that the special meeting may be rescheduled to June 14, also starting at 7 p.m., should the June 12 high school graduation need to be postposed or rescheduled for June 13.
