New Craft Brewery To Open In Levittown Area

BUCKS COUNTY, PA — A new Langhorne brewery named for the Greek god of many crafts and trades — including beer-making — will open to the public in a matter of days.

Following a successful soft-opening event Saturday, Aristaeus Craft Brewing Co.’s founder took to Facebook to share news of the planned taproom launch.

“We appreciate your help in testing out how the taproom operates and we had a great time meeting so many new people!” Harry Arnold said Monday. He added, “I am so excited to announce that the brewery will be officially open later this week.”

The taproom’s full opening has been a long time in the making. Arnold established the company, began promoting the planned brewery, and started to sell small batches of beer online in 2020. For more than a year since, he has updated around 1,600 fans and followers about all kinds of developments — from obtaining building permits to the results of a naming contest for a new saison.

The “open concept nano-brewery” plans to serve eight varieties of craft beer on tap as well as specialty cocktails and hand-crafted nitro cold-brew coffee. Pouring care into each beverage is a priority: the brewery even has its own on-site well.

“Historically, many beers were made famous because of the water used to brew them,” Arnold explained in a Facebook post. That’s why he chose to apply for certification of the property’s well: to have “a pure water source, untouched by human hands, and not treated with chemicals I’d need to remove anyway” with which to craft Aristaeus beer.

“This amazing water will impact not just the beer, but every product that comes from the bar, including the ice, specialty cocktails, fountain soda, cold-brew coffee, and even a simple glass of water,” he said.

Aristaeus Craft Brewing Co. also offers branded hats, shirts, bottle openers, and glassware on their website. All merchandise can be picked up in the taproom at 2475 Big Oak Rd, Suite C.
