Falls Man Charged After Road Rage Incident, Police Say

Falls Township Police arrested a 72-year-old with prior criminal charges who they say displayed a firearm.

LEVITTOWN, PA — Falls Township Police arrested a man accused of yelling at another driver and displaying a firearm he is not legally allowed to carry.

Police reported on Friday that they had arrested Vincent Meier, 72, around 11:45 a.m. on June 18, following reports of a Lincoln Highway road rage incident. The victim claimed another driver had yelled at him and displayed a weapon.

When the victim described the vehicle, officers located Vincent Meier and served a search warrant. They discovered a firearm in Meier’s vehicle during their search. Due to prior convictions, police said, Meier is not allowed to possess firearms.

He was charged with two counts of simple assault, one count of recklessly endangering another, one count of firearms not to be carried without a license, and one count of persons not to possess.
