The Australian-themed steakhouse will be at the former location of Old Country Buffet, next to Best Buy.

FALLS TOWNSHIP, PA — Levittown-area folks hankering for a steak, and maybe a Bloomin' Onion to go with it, will have a new option soon.

Outback Steakhouse, the Australian-themed steak chain, will celebrate its grand opening on Monday, Nov. 18, the company has announced. The new restaurant will be at 650 Commerce Blvd., at the former location of Old Country Buffet.

That's next to the Best Buy in The Court at Oxford Valley.

The restaurant's grand opening will benefit Operation Homefront, a nonprofit helping military families who need help with household expenses. Half of all sales that day, up to $5,000, will be donated to the group, Outback says.

There will be a ribbon-cutting the following day, on Tuesday, Nov. 19, at 10:30 a.m. with a check presentation to Operation Homefront.
