Paving Under Way On Township Line Road
The work, between Big Oak Road and the I-295 bridge, will be causing traffic restrictions, officials say.
MIDDLETOWN, PA — Paving work has begun on Township Line Road in Middletown Township, part of the township's 2020 road-improvement program.
Work on Township Line Road began Wednesday. During the paving, traffic will be restricted between the I-295 bridge and the SEPTA railroad crossing near Big Oak Road.
At least one lane of traffic will remain open at all times and it will be controlled by workers. The road also will reopen for overnight traffic when crews aren't working.

The paving on Township Line Road is expected to take about two weeks. It should be finished by Oct. 16, according to the township.
Until then, drivers are encouraged to find an alternate route to avoid backups and delays in the area. Most of the other roads being repaved in the coming weeks in Middletown are in residential areas, according to township officials.
