Bristol Township School District Hosting Community Recycling Day On May 27

Have you fallen behind on or not even started your spring cleaning? Here is your chance to get your start, while helping to protect the Earth. On Saturday, May 27th, from 9AM to 3PM, Bristol Township School District will be hosting its fourth annual community recycling day in the parking lot of Harry S. Truman High School. (3001 Green Lane, Levittown)

Community members are encouraged to bring household hazardous waste products such as paint and paint related materials, lawn and garden products, bathroom and cleaning solvents, automotive products, flammable materials, and household batteries to properly and safely dispose of these materials. These products should never be thrown in the trash, as they contain toxic chemicals that can harm sanitation workers and the environment.
