SEPTA Trenton Line Suspended Friday After Person Struck

Service on SEPTA's Trenton line was suspended Friday afternoon after a train struck someone.
The incident happened near the line's Torresdale station in northeast Philadelphia, SEPTA announced Friday. Emergency crews were on the scene Friday afternoon and would determin when service could resume, SEPTA said shortly after 3:30 p.m.
In a social media post, SEPTA described the person who was hit by a train as a trespasser on the line.

Shortly before 5 p.m., SEPTA announced that service on the Trenton line had resumed normal operations.
