Sesame Place Plans Elmo's Eggstravaganza Celebration

LANGHORNE, PA — With Easter on the way, Sesame Place will kick off Elmo's Eggstravaganza Celebration next week.

The seasonal event will run from March 27-April 18 at the Langhorne theme park based on the classic children's TV show.

With coronavirus-safety measures in place, the park will be offering physically distant photos with the Easter Bunny at a new Bunny Picture Patch. There will be an interactive Easter Egg Scavenger Hunt and, also new, the Furry Friends Bunny Hope Dance Party.

Sesame Street's favorite characters also will be available for photos, dressed in their Easter best, on floats.

Kids taking part in the scavenger hunt will search for six giant eggs hidden throughout the park. They'll be able to turn in an activity sheet at Mr. Hooper's Emporium for a prize.

The dance party will be socially distanced and located near Oscar's Wacky Taxi.

There will be the park's usual lineup of rides and shows, as well as a special chance to book a buffet meal with Elmo, Abby and the Easter Bunny.
