Slow Poke In The Pokey After Drunk Driving Arrest

FALLS TOWNSHIP, PA — One man spotted driving too slowly in Falls Township was arrested Monday on several charges including driving under the influence of a controlled substance.

In a news release, Falls Township police said the driver, later identified as 29-year-old Jefferson Perez-Diaz, was seen driving erratically under the speed limit some time before 11:45 a.m. Monday.

Authorities tried to pull Perez-Diaz over, but the man attempted to flee, according to the release.

He later stopped and arrested on charges of driving under the influence of a controlled substance, use or possession of drug paraphernalia and driving with operating privileges revoked, among other charges.
