Getting The COVID Vaccine In Bucks Co.: Updates
On the website, St. Mary officials say their vaccine supplies "are limited but are increasing every week." They say the hospital plans to begin vaccinating people other than healthcare and essential workers "over the next several weeks."
"It is expected that all community members 16 years and older will be able to get the vaccine in the coming months," officials said.
St. Mary plans to contact people who have registered directly via email, calls and text messages, as well as sharing availability information on its website and via social media.
Bucks County also is accepting online registrations from people wanting to get the coronavirus vaccine.
County officials said Monday they are "working diligently" to get more vaccine after Pennsylvania dramatically increased the number of people eligible last week. Three free testing sites, on Bucks County Community College campuses, are expected to be converted into vaccination sites next month, county officials have said.
