Summer Concerts in Bristol Borough Plays On
The Bristol Lions Club continues its Sunday free concerts with the Celtic Day Festival, June 30.

The Bristol Lions Club of Bristol Borough has been engaging the community for the last 63 years.
Its annual Summer Concert series is going into its 42nd year. The concerts take place at the Bristol Lions Park Gazebo, located at Foot of Mill Street in Bristol. Most concerts and events start at 6 p.m., unless otherwise noted.
The series not only includes bands, but all day events, as well.

The Bristol Lions Club’s 2013 Summer Concert Schedule goes as follows:
- June 30 – 17th Annual Celtic Day Festival, from 1 – 8 p.m. The event is sponsored by the Celtic Heritage Foundation and will feature the bands and acts: Hooligans, Bagpipers, No Irish Need Apply PHPD and the Fitzpatrick School of Dance.Â
- July 7 – Sonic Blonde, featuring music from the 1960s through today.Â
- July 14 – Point Blank, featuring music from the 1950s to the present.Â
- July 21 – Doris Simon Swing Band, featuring big band swing and Jazz.Â
- July 28 – 42nd Annual Puerto Rican Day Festival, from noon to 8 p.m. The event is sponsored by the Puerto Rican Cultural Association of Bucks County.Â
- Aug. 4 – RGM Project, featuring music from the 1950s to the present.Â
- Aug. 10 – Bridging the Delaware: Festival of Lights from 4 – 10 p.m. The event will feature a boat parade (7 p.m.); fireworks (9 p.m.); and the band Gary Tosti and the Bella Amicas. A rain date of Aug. 11 is scheduled.Â
- Aug. 18 – 19 – Annual Afro-American Festival, from noon to 8 p.m. The event is sponsored by the Afro-American Association of Bristol Borough.Â
- Aug. 25 – Just Jays KaraokeÂ
