Theater To Perform 'The Nutcracker' In Langhorne

LANGHORNE, PA — Just in time for Christmas, a theater group is bringing the holiday classic "The Nutcracker" to local audiences.

The Mid-Atlantic Dance Theater company will be performing the classic ballet, with a score by Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky, at the Harry M. Dengler Performing Arts Center at Maple Point Middle School.

The school is located at 2250 Langhorne-Yardley Rd.

Performances are scheduled for Friday, Saturday and Sunday, Dec. 21-23. Friday and Saturday performances will be at 7 p.m., with a matinee performance on Sunday at 2 p.m.

Tickets are $30 and $25 and may be purchased here.

The cast of roughly 50 people combines local performers with trained ballet dancers. The artistic director is Scott Jovovich and executive director is Liz Fitchett Tillotson.
