Sources say she was released from the hospital and is in good condition.

A 13-year-old Norristown girl who was struck by a car Tuesday, April 16, has been released from the hospital and is doing fine, sources tell Patch. The girl's name is being withheld from public reports.
According to the Norristown Police Department, police and emergency medical services responded to the Haws Avenue and West Airy Street for a report of a pedestrian struck shortly before noon on Tuesday. On the scene, officers spoke with the driver and several witnesses who said the young girl was travelling southbound on the sidewalk along Haws Avenue and entered the crosswalk at Airy Street against the light.
The driver reportedly attempted to swerve away from the girl unsuccessfully and stuck her, launching her from the bicycle into the intersection. The bicycle was crushed under the vehicle.
