Man Pumping Gas Killed In Random Shooting At PA Wawa: DA
Two people are dead following the incident early Wednesday morning, authorities said.

LEHIGH VALLEY, PA — Two people are dead following a shooting spree early Wednesday morning in eastern Pennsylvania.
The incident was traced to a man who had an encounter with a woman driving on Route 22 near Cedar Crest Boulevard in Upper Macungie Township.
The man fired shots at the woman’s car, the Lehigh County District Attorney said, but the woman did not notice until she pulled over shortly thereafter into a nearby Wawa.

The man followed her into the parking lot at around 5 a.m., officials said. That’s when he opened fire, killing truck driver who was pumping gas, according to the DA. Another person was shot but did not sustain life-threatening injuries.
The shootings were called “indiscriminate” and random.

Authorities have identified the deceased truck driver as Ramon Ramirez, 31, of Allentown. He was a father of three children, his employer told WFMZ.
The gunman died by suicide, officials said. He was identified as Za Uk Lian, 45, of South Whitehall Township.
Several businesses and a nearby schools were briefly closed by police as the investigation commenced.
