Ambler Savings Bank in Fairview Village Collecting Gloves for Charity

The bank is collecting them for the not-for-profit Feel The Warmth.

Ambler Savings Bank in Fairview Village is collecting new gloves and mittens for adults and children that they will donate to the local charity Feel The Warmth, who will then give the items to local people in need, according to a media release from Ambler Savings Bank.

Feel The Warmth is a Philadelphia-area not-for-profit that helps individuals and families, be they homeless or in shelters, or simply families getting by week after difficult week, according to their website.

“I cannot imagine any child without a warm pair of mittens during the winter months,” said Diane Kresge, branch manager at Fairview Village’s Ambler Savings Bank, in the release. “As a community bank, we want to reach out and lend a helping hand, especially at this time of year, to those most in need in our community.”
