American Lung Association Gives Montgomery County Poor Marks for Pollution Levels
The State of the Air Report gave county "D" for readings over a three-year period.
The American Lung Association gave Montgomery County poor grades for ozone and particle pollution, according to the Bucks County Courier Times.
The report states that the county received a “D” grade for both categories. The results of the State of the Air report were released after tests were conducted over a three-year period, ending in 2013. The tests for the county were taken in Plymouth Township.
However, the report also says that the county received passing grades using standards set by the state Environmental Protection Agency.
