Amid Pandemic And Holidays, KOP Mall Opens Several New Stores

A slate of new retail stores and restaurants are now open at the King of Prussia Mall.

KING OF PRUSSIA, PA — The ongoing pandemic has not stopped the King of Prussia Mall from opening up several new businesses, just in time for the holiday rush.

Simon, the owner of King of Prussia Mall, announced on Thursday that 11 new businesses, including two pop-up stores, had recently opened. The stores offer in-person shopping, while some also offer curbside or in-store pickup.

The announcement comes a week after Gov. Wolf announce additional COVID-19 mitigation measures, as Pennsylvania and Montgomery County see its coronavirus case numbers and hospitalization rates rapidly rise. Shopping malls are allowed to remain open under the new orders, which restrict businesses to 50 percent capacity.
