Another Shots Fired Call Under Investigation in West End

Several residents in the vicinity of the 600 block of Astor Street in the West End reported hearing shots fired in the area Friday morning. 

Police responded to the scene shortly after 11 a.m. but no one at the scene reported any injuries and according to The Times Herald, no evidence was recovered by police.

This recent report follows a shooting that occurred in the same area late Wednesday night in which police say multiple victims were involved. Few details have been released in the Wednesday night incident, but police say the shooting is under investigation.

Police remained on the scene on Friday following this latest incident to maintain a presence in the neighborhood.
