Clemens Uniform Rental Truck Driver Dies Following Route 422 Crash

The four-vehicle accident occurred on the westbound off-ramp of Route 422 around 3:30 p.m.

Update:
 The driver of the Clemens Uniform Rental truck flown to a trauma center after an accident Thursday has died at an undetermined hospital, per sources who spoke on anonymity. A name will not be released until notification of next of kin.

The driver of a truck belonging to the Lansdale-based Clemens Uniform Rental was flown via medical helicopter to an unreleased trauma center following a Thursday afternoon crash on the westbound Route 422 off-ramp in Oaks, according to Pottstown Mercury.

Preliminary reports determined the driver crashed the truck into two other trucks coming down the ramp from Egypt Road, per the article. A third vehicle was also involved in the crash. The Clemens truck sustained major front-end damage.

The Clemens Uniform Rental truck driver was the only individual injured in the crash, which occurred around 3:30 p.m.
