A Dozen Accidents On Montco Roads During Slippery Rush Hour
First responders were on scene at more than a dozen accidents around Montgomery County as rush hour approached Tuesday.

MONTGOMERY COUNTY, PA — First responders were on scene at more than a dozen accidents around Montgomery County as rush hour approached Tuesday.
With drizzle and heavier rain coming down on and off for much of the day, conditions were quite slippery, leading to issues on multiple highly trafficked roads around the region.
As of around 4:45 p.m., crews were responding to accidents in the following locations:

- Cross Street and Keim Street, Pottstown
- Charlotte Street and East Street, Pottstown
- Huntingdon Pike and Cathedral Road, Bryn Athyn
- Edgewood Drive and West Vine Street, Hatfield
- Bethlehem Pike near the jughandle, Montgomery Township
- Valley Forge Road and Allentown Road, Towamencin
- Schuylkill Expressway near Weadley Road overpass, Upper Merion
- 1st Avenue and Freedom Drive, Upper Merion
- Pennsylvania Turnpike near the I-276 westbound ramp, Upper Merion
- Black Rock Road and South Trappe Road, Upper Providence
- Ridge pike and Park Avenue, Whitemarsh
- Montgomery Avenue and Bryn Mawr Avenue, Narberth
- Maple Ave and Washington Lane, Cheltenham
EMS units were called to the scene at Charlotte Street in Pottstown and Bethlehem Pike in Montgomery Township, as well as 1st Avenue in Upper Merion.
There is no word yet on the extent of any injuries.
