Duck Donuts Is Expanding In Montgomery County

Great news for donut lovers: Duck Donuts, which takes donuts to a whole new level, is expanding in Montgomery County.

Great news for local donut lovers: two new donut shops are on the way to the local area, including one in Montgomery County and another in Chester County.

The highly popular, gloriously decorated Duck Donuts is primed to continue its rapid expansion in the region. The new shops will be located in Collegeville and West Chester.

According to the Duck Donuts website, the Collegeville location is in the Providence Town Center and is slated to open this Saturday, Sept. 22.

An opening date for the West Chester location has not yet been announced on their website, but Philadelphia Business Journal reports it will be sometime this fall. That shop will be in the Shoppes at Dilworthtown Crossing.

Founded in 2006 in Duck, North Carolina — in the Outer Banks — Duck Donuts has established several stores in Pennsylvania and New Jersey over the past year. A King of Prussia location, which opened last year, was the area's first and only spot until now.

The purveyor of a classic American breakfast treat takes donuts to a new level, including a wide variety of flavors and cravings like peanut butter, bacon, coconut, and more. They also offer "hot drizzle" choices on top, like hot fudge, raspberry, and salted carmel.

Nationwide, Duck has now spread its 71 chains to 24 states, per their website.
