East Norriton Woman, Longtime Local Volunteer, Dies At 97

NORRISTOWN, PA — Josephine C. Giaimo, 97, of East Norriton passed away peacefully on Friday, May 18, 2018, at the Brandywine Senior Suites surrounded by her loving family. Born on July 21, 1920 in Everett Massachusetts, she was the daughter of the late Jerome & Anne (Mandrachia) Giaimo.

Josephine retired from the Blue Cross and Blue Shield in Boston Massachusetts where she worked for many years. Also in her spare time she would always be involved in the volunteer work at the Brandywine Senior Living Center.

Josephine is survived by her sister, Theresa (Frank) Carchedi, and he loving niece, Nina Giaimo.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her three brothers, John (Mary) Giaimo, Anthony Giaimo, and Alfonso Giaimo.
