Elmwood Baby Sloth Alert: Meet Liana Before Her Exhibit Opens
Feed baby Liana a snack at Elmwood Zoo's brand new "Sloth Encounters" feature.

NORRISTOWN, PA — Taking care of Elmwood Park Zoo's newest and wildly popular resident is now a community effort.
The zoo has launched a brand new "Sloth Encounters" feature which allows the public to meet Liana, the newborn baby sloth, before her exhibit officially opens.
Attendees at Sloth Encounters can feed Liana a snack, see her up close, and learn firsthand from her keepers how she's being raised and cared for.

Sloth Encounters is open for groups of up to four people, on Tuesdays through Saturdays at 9 a.m. To learn more and purchase tickets for Sloth Encounters, see online here.
Once she's ready to emerge, the linnaeus sloth will be in a new exhibit adjacent to the Trail of the Jaguar. Construction crews are currently preparing her home.
