Heavy rainfall has significantly impacted the Norristown area before, and officials are again warning of flash flooding Tuesday.

NORRISTOWN, PA — Heavy rainfall has significantly impacted the Norristown area before, and officials are again warning of flash flooding due to Tuesday's storm.
The National Weather Service issued the warning at around 4:30 p.m. It's set to expire at 7:30 p.m.
The warning also covers a lengthy swath of Delaware and Chester counties, as well as King of Prussia, Valley Forge, and other nearby. municipalities in Montgomery County.

Residents in the area should move immediately to higher ground and avoid walking or driving through flood waters.
