Four Montco Coronavirus Test Sites Closing Friday Amid Storms
Residents with standing testing appointments at the four sites set to close will receive a call to reschedule.

MONTGOMERY COUNTY, PA — Walk-up testing sites in Lansdale, Norristown, Willow Grove and Pottstown will be closed Friday amid forecasts calling for severe weather.
Sites in Green Lane and Ardmore will remain open on Friday. Both sites will perform testing on Friday from 4 to 6 p.m.
In a release, the county said people with appointments to get tested on Friday will receive a call to reschedule their appointments.

The county's six walk-up testing sites are free do not require a prescription or insurance. However, an appointment is required to get tested.
Appointments can be made online starting at 8:30 a.m. on the day of testing, or one day in advance. The county's release stated appointment capacity at each site will be expanded on Monday because testing demand is high.

The Norristown site at 1401 Dekalb Street will reopen Monday with updated hours. Starting Monday, the site will test from 10 a.m. to noon on Monday, Wednesday and Friday and from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m. on Tuesday and Thursday.
