Fourth of July Committee Looking for Groups and Bands to Participate in Parade

Want to participate in the Norristown Fourth of July Parade?

The Fourth of July Committee is looking for group and bands interested in participating in the annual Independence Day Parade.

The parade is scheduled to begin at 10:30 a.m. at Airy and Swede Streets and end a 12:30 p.m. If anyone is interested in participating, they can contact Sandy Grubb at 610-270-0421 or at sgrubb@norristown.org.

The day will also include entertainment at the Fire Chiefs Memorial Band Shell from noon-4 p.m. There will also be outdoor concerts by Old School at 12:30 p.m. and the Sofa Kings at 6:30 p.m. The event will conclude with fireworks.
