Help Restore Animal Habitat In Norristown

Want to help improve animal habitat? Volunteers are needed.

NORRISTOWN, PA -- Norristown Farm Park will hold a volunteer effort to remove invasive plants in the park on Sunday, October 9, according to a press release from the county.

The event will begin at 2 p.m. and continue until 3:30 p.m.

Improve animal habitat by removing non-native invasive plant species and planting some native species.

Individuals, families, and groups are welcome. Volunteers are asked to bring work gloves along with tools like loppers, pruning saws, shears, and hand trowels if available.

Please call 610-270-0215 to preregister. Volunteers will meet at the park office.
