KING OF PRUSSIA, PA — The eastbound lanes of the Schuylkill Expressway have now flooded over near King of Prussia, and traffic has been re-routed over to Route 202, officials said.

The flooding is concentrated in the area around Gulph Mills.

PennDOT traffic footage in the area showed multiple vehicles stopped in the water.

There was a heavy line of traffic along the road leading up to the flooded area as of shortly before 1 p.m.

All motorists are urged to stay off the roads if at all possible as flooding continues. If you see standing water, do not drive through it.

Police are also reminding motorists to never drive around barricades for closed roads.

More than 22,000 Montgomery County residents are without power Tuesday.
