Junior Naturalist Camp Coming To Norristown In July
Insects, forest ecology, creek, birds, mammals, and habitat are some of the topics explored using games, crafts, and hands-on activities.

NORRISTOWN, PA -- The Junior Naturalist Camp sponsored by Montgomery County Parks, Trails, & Historic Sites is anenvironmental summer learning program for children entering fourth through seventh grade.
Camp is just one week (two locations) and is held daily from 9:00 am to 12:00 pm. Each morning is filled with activities that teach children about the natural world around them.
Insects, forest ecology, creek, birds, mammals, and habitat are some of the topics explored using games, crafts, and hands-on activities. Children learn to use field guides and complete simple data sheets every day. All campers receive a camp shirt. Camp is conducted by environmental education staff.

The cost is $50.00 for the week. Payment must accompany the completed registration form (available atwww.moncopa.org/pthsor at either park office. Camp fills up quickly and space is limited. Registration is on a first-come-first-served basis.
