NORRISTOWN, PA — Montgomery County has announced a new job opening that it says will be transformational in the way the county runs its operations.
The county is now seeking a new Director of Diversity, Equity and Inclusion. The job, within the county commissioners office and reporting to the Chief Operating Officer, pays $80,534 yearly.
The individual "will lead institutional/organizational change-work that is truly transformational, by developing and implementing proactive, integrative...goals and strategies for Montgomery County," the description reads.

Needed qualifications and experience include a relevant bachelor's degree, experience with implementing similar activities, and experience with Affirmative Action or Equal Employment Opportunity issues.
