Montco Special Ceremony Will Honor Pride Month, Raise Flag

The Progress Pride flag will be raised over the county courthouse during a special ceremony next week.

NORRISTOWN, PA — Montgomery County will honor Pride Month during a special ceremony at the county government's campus in Norristown next week.

The Progress Pride flag will be raised over the courthouse during the ceremony, which will feature guest speakers from across local and county government.

The event will address "the importance of this symbol as well as the ongoing push for equality for all people," organizers said in a statement.

The event will take place on Tuesday, June 8, at 12:30 p.m. at 2 E. Airy Street.
