Multi-Car Accident at Main & Walnut Streets

Rush-hour traffic was heavier than usual in Norristown this evening as an accident involving a Germantown Cab Co. taxicab and two other vehicles tied up traffic along East Main Street at Walnut Street in front of Holy Saviour Church.

Details of the crash are unavailable, but pictures provided from the scene by Patch reader Derrick J, show the cab fairly up and under a minivan which in turn appears to have struck the car in front of it. 

No injuries were reported so far and authorities seem to have cleared the scene fairly quickly to get traffic moving again.
