National Puppy Day In Montgomery County: Pups Up For Adoption
Tuesday is National Puppy Day, founded in 2006 to raise awareness for good boys and girls seeking a forever home.
MONTGOMERY COUNTY, PA — Tuesday is National Puppy Day, and there are plenty of good boys and girls around the Montgomery County area who would love to celebrate by finding their new home.
National Puppy Day, which is observed each year on March 23, celebrates the unconditional love and affection puppies bring to our lives. It was founded in 2006 by pet advocate Colleen Paige in an effort to encourage adoptions and raise awareness for young homeless canines.
The Montgomery County SPCA currently has 11 dogs up for adoption in the facilities, ranging in age from just a few months old to 10 years old. (See all available local SPCA adoptions here).
