New Distillery Opens in Norristown

Five Saints Distilling and International Spirits had its grand opening Saturday night.

NORRISTOWN, PENNSYLVANIA —Five Saints Distilling and International Spirits opened its doors Saturday night after two years of work. The old Humane Fire Engine Company #1 building on 129 East Main Street was restored to make way for the distillery. They create vodka, white whiskey, gin, blood orange liquor, rye whiskey and bourbon.

“We’ve been working over two years developing this unique micro-distillery. Our premium, small batch, hand-crafted spirits are ready to go. We look forward to our visitors enjoying and sharing the spirits together,” John Robert George,founder/distiller, said in a press release.

The distillery is offering tour guides that will share the history of the Humane Fire Engine Co. #1. Check out the distillery's website for more information.
