New Montco Restaurant Funding Announced: Up To $50K Available
Amid the pandemic's fallout, the county has another $9.4 million in state funds to disburse in their Hospitality Industry Recovery Program.
MONTGOMERY COUNTY, PA — As restaurants attempt to recover from the pandemic and its ongoing impacts, another $9.4 million in state funding has been made available to Montgomery County restaurants.
The MontcoStrong 2021 Hospitality Industry Recovery Program will offer up to $50,000 per establishment, officials announced recently. Grants will range between $5,000 and $50,000.
Businesses must demonstrate 25 percent reduction in gross income per quarter last year, as compared to the same quarter from 2019. All applicants must submit documentation of the expenses they incurred and paid during the given period.

To be eligible, businesses must have fewer than 300 full time employees, and a net worth of less than $15 million.
