Two of best tomato pies in the Philadelphia region can be found in Norristown, the magazine says.

NORRISTOWN, PA — Two Norristown eateries have landed on a list of the entire Philadelphia region's best tomato pies.
Corropolese Bakery, which has set up shop in Norristown, Audubon, Limerick, and Douglassville, was recently included on a list of Philadelphia Magazine's top pies around.
"They offer a ton of different topping options, from white cheddar to eggplant, but it’s the plain red gravy original that’s truly iconic," the magazine says.

"This long-running Italian bakery has something of a regional monopoly on supplying supermarkets with thieir signature tomato pies," the magazine says. "If you can’t make it out to the bakery in Norristown, just grab one of their red-striped boxes at your local Acme, Giant, or ShopRite instead."
A total of 16 bakeries were listed by Philly Mag.
