Norristown Burglar Was In Home When Family Returned: Police

NORRISTOWN, PA — Authorities are asking for the public's help in tracking down a man they said attempted to burglarize a Norristown home.

The incident occurred in the early morning hours of June 21 on the 800 block of George Street.

The man broke into the home and was encountered by the homeowner and a young child when they returned, police said.

The burglar fled the scene without further incident.
