Honors were for their work during two major fires earlier this year in Norristown
The Norristown Council honored dozens of fire companies, including the Norristown Fire Company, and other emergency responders during its meeting Tuesday, according to The Times Herald.
The report states the council honored the firemen, police and other emergency responders for their work during two major fires earlier this year, including an April 20 fire on Kohn Street.
According to the report, the Norristown Police Department and the Public Works Department also received commendations.
