Norristown Detective Receives Commendation by District Attorney's Office

The Montgomery County District Attorney’s Office honored a Norristown detective Thursday for his work in helping getting am alleged rapist off the street, according to The Times Herald.
The report states that District Attorney Risa Freeman gave Detective James Angelucci a commendation for investigating and arresting Howard Tucker in 2011. Tucker was later convicted for raping two woman and sexually assaulting a third.
The D.A.’s office said that Tucker worked as a supervisor and peer specialist at the Central Mental Health Retardation Center in Norristown, and used his position to allegedly prey on women.

According to the report, Angelucci helped convince the reluctant victims to testify against Tucker, which led to a conviction.
