NORRISTOWN, PA — When times are tough, heroes emerge. We all know someone who's making a difference right now as we live through unprecedented and changing times.

Patch has launched an initiative to help recognize these heroes making a difference in their communities. Together with Ring, we’re working to let all your neighbors know about these outstanding people and their stories.

This submission comes from Steven Hemingway, who nominated his wife, a healthcare worker and coronavirus survivor.

Hero's job: Marcella is a front line worker who works tirelessly against the debilitating effects of Covid 19.

Reason for recognition: She is a Covid 19 survivor who spent 20 days in quarantine during her battle and recovery.
