Norristown Man Sentenced For Slashing Another Prisoner

An incarcerated Norristown man pleaded guilty to slashing another prisoner, according to CBS Philly.

The report states that Michael Call, 29, pleaded guilty to slashing Gary Roman, an accused child-sex offender, with a sharp object inside Montgomery County Prison last December.

According to the report, Romano almost died from the attack and needed 47 stitches to close wounds on his face and neck.

Call received a five-and-a-half to 11-year jail-sentence in state prison, the report states.
