Norristown Riverfront Festival Is This Weekend

NORRISTOWN, PA — Norristown's Riverfront Festival is scheduled for this weekend, Saturday, Sept. 15. It will run from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m. at Riverfront Park, located on Haws Avenue.

Some highlights of the event will include a Conshohocken Brewery Beer Garden, live music, food trucks, various educational activities, kayaking, and games for children.

Numerous local leaders will be on hand, including Norrristown Council President Sonya Sanders, Municipal Administrator Crandall Jones, Carrie Barron of the Audubon Society, along with Norristown Council members Derrick Perry, Olivia Brady, and Rebeca Smith, organizers said.

Parking is available at the Intermediate Unit, which is a short walk along the trail to the park.
