Norristown School Calendar 2018-19: First Day Of School And More

NORRISTOWN, PA — The first day of school in Norristown is September 4 — and whether you and the kids are looking forward to the new school year or are dreading the end of summer, you’ll want to mark the date on your calendar ASAP. The Norristown School District has released its 2018-2019 calendar for public schools.

The calendar includes important dates such as winter and spring vacations, religious holidays, federal holidays, early dismissals and parent-teacher conferences.

Here is the full list of dates to know for this school year:

• 9/10: No School (Rosh Hashanah)
• 9/19: No School (Yom Kippur )

October

• 10/16: Early Dismissal

November

• 11/6: No School (Professional Development Day)
• 11/13: Early Dismissal
• 11/20: Full Day (Parent Teacher Conferences)
• 11/21: No School (Parent Teacher Conferences)
• 11/22-11/23: No School (Thanksgiving)

December

• 12/4: Early Dismissal (Grades K-4 Only)
• 12/21: Early Dismissal (All Students)
• 12/24-12/31: No School (Winter Break)

January

• 1/1: No School (Winter Break)
• 1/21: No School (Martin Luther King Jr. Day)
• 1/29: Early Dismissal (Grades 5-12 Only)

February

• 2/15: No School (Professional Development Day)
• 2/18: No School (Presidents' Day)

March
