Norristown Woman, 'A Light Like No Other', Dies At 33

NORRISTOWN, PA — Jessa Jane Kenny, 33, was found deceased in her home on April 9th, 2018. At this time, the cause of her death remains unknown. Jessa was born on April 1st, 1985 and was raised in Norristown, Pa. She was the daughter of Stacy Ludy and Francis Kenny, as well as the stepdaughter of Kevin Ludy. Jessa attended Norristown Area schools, and after several roadblocks, she received her diploma from that district. She welcomed two sons into the world with her partner at the time, Vince Corropolese. Jessa loved Joey and Little Vince with all her heart, as well as the two sons she had with Alexis Medina - Kevin and Cameron. All four boys have her sweet face, smile, dimples and heart.

Jessa was a wonderful, hysterically funny, talented and creative young woman, who struggled with several challenges but was doing extremely well for the better part of the last year. She was working on her grief over the loss of her sister and niece, and was dealing with other issues through therapy as well. As a family, we felt she had turned a corner, and we were in awe of the confident, beautiful, strong Jessa we saw emerging from the ashes.

Jessa is survived by her siblings - Reissa Roma (Jeff Roma), Geneva Kenny, Frank Kenny (Sheena Bellitto Kenny), Melanie Ludy, Dylan Ludy, and Jared Ludy. She also had 8 nieces and nephews, lots of aunts and uncles, many many cousins, and extended family, including her Aunt Rose Kenny, with whom she was especially close. Jessa is also survived by Pamela Fiorillo, her roommate at the time of her death, and dear family friend. Jessa's death has left a hole in our family that no one can fill. She was a light like no other, a spark so bright, and a promise for the future. All of us, especially her children, are understandably devastated. We are asking for continued prayers.

Relatives and friends are invited to Jessa's Life Celebration at Boyd-Horrox-Givnish of East Norriton, 200 W. Germantown Pike on Tuesday, April 17th, 2018 from 6-8 PM and again Wednesday, April 18th from 9-11 AM. Service immediately following the viewing from 11 AM to noon. Jessa will be interred at Valley Forge Memorial Gardens, next to her sister Alyssa, and niece Anastasia. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to "Funeral/Burial Costs organized by Frank Kenny" at the "GoFundMe" site to defray costs.
