Norristown Woman, Public Library Fixture For 40 Years, Passes On
Dedicated public servant Dora Mae Beagle Hunt, 81, worked at the Norristown Public Library for 40 years until her death.

NORRISTOWN, PA — Life began for Dora Mae Beagle Hunt, on January 9, 1937 in Greenville, South Carolina. She was born the daughter of the late Roosevelt and Ethel Edwards Beagle. She later met and married Michael Edward Hunt with whom she shared forty-six years of marriage.
On Saturday, April 14, 2018 in Einstein Montgomery Hospital, East Norriton, Pennsylvania, God dispatched His Angel of Mercy to Dora’s bedside and called her home from labor to reward at the age of eighty-one years.

In her early years she relocated to New York before eventually making Pennsylvania her permanent home.
Dora enjoyed worshiping the Lord, bowling, dancing, arts and crafts, music, game shows, NCIS and being surrounded by her family and friends. Dora was employed as a Library Clerk for forty years at Montgomery County Norristown Public Library in Norristown, PA until her death.

She leaves a great legacy to be cherished by her husband, Michael E. Hunt of Norristown, daughters LeDora (James) Jackson of Norristown, Casandra Sheard of Upper Pottsgrove, Sonja D. Hunt (Romnus), of Haverford, Sabrina M. Moon (Hunt) of Norristown, fourteen grandchildren, a host great-grandchildren, one great-great grandchild, two loving devoted friends: Sue Carpenter and Valerie Johnson (Auntie Val), a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. She was predeceased by two children: William Sheard and Ethel Sheard and four grandchildren: Casandra, Alexander, Catrina and Chanielle
